You may have noticed that there has been a name change here. This used to be “Just Some Ramblings” (and before the “The FireKnights Blog”) and now it is called “The FireKnight”. Well, I have not gone off of my rocker just throwing names around because I like to change things aroung. God convicted me that what he has me doing here is not some off handed ramblings but serious teachings from his word and that if I continue to leave the name the way it was then he will change the revelations he was giving me to fit the title. Well, I repeneted on my face before God and asked for forgiveness for having to tritely treated what he was giving me. That is when I began to think and pray about what to call the blog/podcast again. God told me to return to the original name again only to drop the plural meaning and just call it “The FireKnight” as, at least for now, I am the only one who is speaking on the podcast. So, in obedience to the Lord, I made the change. And this is why you see a change in the name. I am sorry that there was the other name and for any misleading that might have had because God definitely does not ramble.
Do you think it is easy to spot if you have grow lukewarm in your walk with God? It may not be as easy as you think because our enemy is crafty and has years of experience playing with people’s minds. Listen as I discuss how the enemy is causing many believers to not walk in the power and blessings that God wants them too.
Imagine what it would be like if someone came to you and said deny God or you will die. What would you do? Listen as we look at Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego and what they did when king Nebuchadnezzar did just that by demanding that they deny God and worship a golden image or die in the fiery furnace.
I am having major computer issues and will have to delay the sermoncast for this week. Please pray that I can recover from what is happening. For those that are in the know, the recovery disk that I put in that was supposed to format and install on my C Drive instead formatted my F Drive. That was the drive that I had all my data on. Now, I do have backups of most everything, but not all because recently I have had issues with being able to record CD/DVDs and even a virus. So, I was going to recover my computer to go back to square one and start over. However, the enemy attacked because somehow it formatted my F drive (secondary controller slave drive) and not the C drive as it should have. End result is that I will have to delay this weeks sermoncast, but one way or another, I will have the message scheduled for this week out by next Sunday if not earlier.
On this Mother’s Day, I take a look at Mary, the mother of Jesus, and his relationship with her to find the importance of motherhood. Listen in this week to find out what insight God showed me from the Bible and Jesus’ attitude that demonstrate the significance of the one who nurtures and showers love upon us.
I recently attended a National Day of Prayer meeting and it got me thinking about what is holding back our land from being healed. After praying and seeking the Lord, I believe I have the answer. Listen in this week as I discuss what I believe the Lord showed me is hindering our ability to heal America.
